Almia- 25:: Chapter 25:: A Meeting that Changed my World

Murph was right, there was a biberal on the way to HQ, for which I was grateful, as then I would not have to rush all the way back to the woods to find one. Umbreon was quiet all the way down to the main building. I wonder if it was just missing Dante, or if there was more to her unnatural broodiness.

My own thoughts were cut off as we entered the building and were met in the lobby by a scientist by the name of Nage. He nodded to Murph, who went to back to work, before turning to me, "I assume you're Sam Westover?"

I nodded, "I am."

"Good. The professor's been waiting for you."

Barlow was still waiting for me with Brook when I got back, "So you found the key?"

I nodded and handed it to Brook, who promptly ran to lower his bridge.

"And you weren't scared of the water? You even opened your eyes?"

I nodded, "Why? Are you scared of the water?"

Barlow shifted, "not of the water, exactly. Just being under it."

Almia- 23:: Chapter 23:: Lost and Found

A quick check of my styler showed that finneon's field move was a level one crush. Not quite what I was looking for, but it was sure to be useful anyway. As I grew more accustomed to the currents I swam a little quicker, though I was not nearly as fast as many of the pokémon I saw, and I felt a twinge of envy, but pushed it aside. I was a land creature, and they were built for the sea.

I awoke to my voicemail going off the next morning, "Aww, geez…" I fiddled with the controls then said, "Sam here!"

"Oh good, just the person I was looking for."

"What do you need, Barlow?" I yawned. "I'm dead tired, isn't there anyone else who can do whatever it is you need?"

Barlow sighed, "I'm sorry you aren't feeling your best, but we have a situation down here. Can you be here as soon as possible?"

I gave another yawn, "Oh, alright. But I swear I'm starting to run on pure adrenaline."

"Three days off starting two days from now, I promise." Barlow replied.

I knew I couldn't avoid my mother forever so I decided to just get it over with and check my e-mail, starting with the most recent:

We paused in front of one door, "You think this is the place, Ollie?"

He nodded and pointed to the flower garden, "She always had those hydrangeas growing.."

"Do you want to do this yourself, or do you want me there?"

He took a deep breath, "I.. Ah.. actually, could you just follow me in? You know, for emotional support?"

I nodded and Ollie quickly pushed the door open, "Uh.. Mom.. I'm sorry I was gone for so long, I didn't mean.. I mean I didn't want to leave, but I've always been such a failure.. at everything I do.. um.. I'm sorry I made you worry.. And.. and.. I'm home."

good, cause I like that dynamic about them, when they're together, they boss the boys around, but as soon as Sam dissapears, the class clown's true colors emerge (didn't we have a "maybe shane has a secret crush on sam" joke about that at one point?)

Oh, by the way, after a certain point, is it allright if the twins start dyeing part of their hair? (red for shea, blue for shane) just part of their bangs, you know, like where I have the blonde in my haircut you saw last? I really want to draw Shane with blue in his bangs

I don't really care if you draw them that way, but I probably won't WRITE that it changes, since I don't do very in depth descriptions of anyone when I write.

And yes, we had a gag were Shane kinda crushed on Sam (or vice versa, I forgot) and Dan and I were also playing around with the possibility of Shane having a slight crush on Sam, which is half the reason he dislikes Justin at the beginning (the other is that he's a better trainer)

Speaking of, I need to work on more of the Hoenn story so I can move onto Sinnoh and Kanto, where shit gets interesting >:3

Okay ^^ yeah, I noticed that when you write a description of a character, you leave it up to enterpretation alot of the time, describing their hair length and telling what kind of out fit they're in get's about as far as you go

and note me the new poke list, that way I can use my character creator abilities and give it final scrutiny before I set you free with my babies XD

Oh, and something I've been wondering about, are Adin, Jake and Thom still going to travel with Dante and Wyvern when we start that story back up, or are you pulling them irrevocably?

Honestly Kyra, I didn't change their teams too much, but I'll link you to the lists ([link] Shea and Shane are the bottom two lists) You can edit them there.

I'm pulling them irrevocably, but if you want to keep them as they are or edit them yourself, go ahead. I know they were pretty central to your story.
