Piper and Vivienne Karran

These are the last two kids of Justin, Sam, and Shea... at least for now.

Piper (left) is about 18 months older than Vivienne (right), though at these ages (about 7 and 9 respectively) they look like they could be twins. Piper is Shea's daughter while Vivienne is Sam's.

Piper is a very energetic girl who can be extremely headstrong and stubborn when she wants to be. She's also a horrible troublemaker, though it's all in the name of finding "adventure". She'll often pull Vivienne along in her stunts, though Viv is hardly an unwilling participant. Viv will sometimes hesitate if a particular stunt looks too dangerous, but Pip is very persuasive and, when all else fails, she'll do it first to show it'll be okay. Justin was always worried about these two girls since they were always in and out of trouble, but while Viv would be genuinely contrite after being reprimanded, Pip would butt heads with her dad- insisting that she was never in any real danger so he shouldn't be mad. Vivienne on her own is very quiet and can easily entertain herself, but since Piper can't, they're usually not too far apart.

Because of the age gap between the older four and these two, Vivienne and Piper have more distant relationships with Jade and Linden, who were leaving for their respective careers when they were still relatively young. They have a very close relationship with Juliet who stayed home and was like a third mom to them and Aiko is somewhere in between.  They are each close to their mom, but while Piper butts heads with Justin regularly, Vivienne idolizes both her parents and hates it when they get angry with her.

Piper is a huge tomboy and almost exclusively wears t-shirts and jeans/shorts. She likes mid-rise socks and high top tennis shoes and often has band-aids over various scrapes and bruises. She wears her hair in low twin tails to keep it out of the way. Vivienne on the other hand loves skirts and frilly things. She wears cute shirts and skits, usually with some lace or other frills along the hems, and knee high socks with lace at the top. She wears tennis shoes instead of flats most of the time to better keep up with Piper's antics. Though they haven't chosen their first pokemon yet, Piper eventually chooses Pancham that she names Maverick and Vivienne gets a Cottonee (whimsicott) named Lynette.
