 “Once upon a time, there was a kingdom that was said to be made completely of crystal- beautiful, shimmering crystals of every shade and hue. And it was also said that this kingdom was ruled by a Princess who was just as beautiful as her kingdom. She was not just beautiful, but she was also caring and just. She ruled her kingdom fairly for many years until one day a Prince from a far away kingdom came and fell in love with the princess. He courted the princess and tried his best to convince her to marry him, but try as he might, he could not make the Crystal Princess fall in love with him. But the prince would not give up so easily.

 The next morning dawned bright and early, and Minty was up with the sun as is common of pegasi. When she shifted, she realized she'd placed her wing across Dove sometime in the night, though she couldn't exactly remember when. Feeling embarrassed, she pulled her wings tight against her sides as she quickly stood up and moved towards the dying fire.
